  Milton County, Georgia was annexed by Fulton County in 1932 and forms the most northern portion of Fulton County. Birmingham, GA The Birmingham Community is the best preserved local community in the area and one of the most threatened. Located at the intersection of Birmingham Highway (372) and Birmingham Road, the community still contains several old store buildings, a Methodist Church, and several older homes around the community center.
