• Notes

  This James J McDermott born 1856 died before 1898 may in fact be the same individual married to Margareta Ann Clark, sister to his wife, Eliza Greenville Clark. The only difference in the legacy data is the middle initial in his name, J or A, one of which or both could be incorrect. All the dates line up from the obvious year of birth and death being the same. Margareta died in 1884, the same year her child was born. That year her sister, Eliza, marries a James McDermott. Further, Margareta Ann Clark remarries in 1898 and we know that James A or J Mcdermott died before 1898. This is somthing that will have to be researched further to see if my theory can be supported.
